Project

A World Without Speciesist Violence is an anti-speciesist project born of the struggle to eradicate a social violence amply normalized that I have termed “Speciesist Violence”.
The project maintains an integral vision of Speciesist Violence contemplating not only the study of violence, but also the possibility of peace, avoiding the classical or restrictive approaches that place its ultimate end at the absence of violence or war. Thus the project contributes in turn to cover a lack detected on the empirical area: the difficulty to identify, visibilize and reunify the wide range of pacifist antispeciesist proposals that arise as practical alternatives to the exercise of said speciesist violence.
General guidelines of the Project:
- Theorizing Speciesist Violence: Understanding the problem
- Living without Speciesist Violence: Eradication strategies
- Creating a world without Speciesist Violence: Transformation strategies
